✪ Nighttime Body Temperature
Human bodies are wired to cool off during the nights. Just before we are about to sleep, we need a cooler temperature to ensure a good night’s sleep. As we fall asleep, our body’s internal temperature dips further, that’s why we start feeling cold 3-4 hours after falling asleep. This continues until an hour or two before we wake up.
✪ Ideal Room Temperature
Normal human body temperature is between 36-37 degree Celsius, so the ideal room temperature should be around 24-28 degree Celsius with sufficient airflow. People tend to set their AC at 18-21 degree Celsius, believing it will be more comfortable for them. However, running AC at a low temperature throughout the night can lead to low humidity. This can dry out your sinuses, increasing the risk of respiratory infections.
✪ Circadian Rhythm
Circadian rhythm is the 24-hour internal clock in our brain that regulates our waking and sleep cycles. Enerlyf has studied sleep patterns and Circadian Rhythms, ensuring that it adjusts the room temperature as per your body’s cooling needs by switching between AC or fan & increasing room temperature, as per your body preference.
✪ REM Sleep
REM sleep or deep sleep usually happens 90 minutes after you fall asleep. In babies, 50% of their sleep is REM sleep, while adults have only about 20% of REM sleep. It is vital to have good REM sleep without any disturbance as it is associated with tissue repair as well as immunity. Enerlyf ensures you sleep comfortably like a baby by taking care of your body’s cooling needs throughout the night.
